After years of doing nothing, Gov. Gianforte finally addresses Montana’s affordable housing crisis, but takes the usual GOP route of blaming “regulations,” without explaining what that means…

Does he mean the regulations (codes, etc.) that keep Montana homes and neighborhoods safe, the “regulations” that protect short-term rentals, at the expense of housing for Montanans, or the “regulations” (i.e., zoning) that wealthier locals use to restrict housing density and encourage the building of McMansions and urban sprawl?
